The simple, figurative style of Kasprzyk's painting ties in with the art of the Italian Quattrocento ; Similarities with surrealism are by their own admission coincidental and superficial. Kasprzyk is an ironic observer of current life and the relationships between people (mainly between men and women), and thus a representative of a poetic style in painting. He paints from photos he has made himself, for which he stands alone or with his wife Bogna. Kasprzyk places his characters in an unreal landscape and often lets them play imaginary roles - as dueling couples, as dancers, musicians or jugglers. Sometimes he also multiplies the figures by showing them in successive phases of movement. The search for the meaning of life can be seen in his pictures.
