The Militant Workers Front - PAME - (Greek: Πανεργατικό Αγωνιστικό Μέτωπο, ΠΑΜΕ, Panergatiko Agonistiko Metopo) is a communist-oriented organization within the Greek trade union movement. It was founded in April 1999 on the initiative of trade unionists from the Communist Party of Greece . According to Pame's own information, in 2005 the affiliates had around 415,000 members. In June 2012 the number of members was given as 850,000. The Pame is a member of the World Trade Union Confederation . It is worth mentioning that “pame” as a verb in Greek means “let's go” (in the sense of starting, moving forward), or “forwards”, or corresponds to the English “lets'go” or the Spanish “vamos” .
