Minerva Louise

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Minerva Louise (in the German translation Minerva Luise ) is a series of children's books written by Janet Morgan Stoeke . It appeared from 1999 to 2002 in the Pixi books series of Carlsen Verlag in Hamburg as a series with other books; the books appeared individually in the 1970s (in Germany).

In the book there is the hen Louise ( Luise in the German translation ), who depicts dealing with the environment in “real” life in a child-friendly manner. Most of the time, writing is done from the point of view of the hen, so that the reader can put himself in the place of the animal. The books are not textbooks, but serve to get the child to know the animal world, among other things .
