Mini VGA
Mini-VGA was used in laptops or other compact systems instead of the VGA port due to the limited space available . In addition to the compactness, another advantage is that composite and S-video can be used through adapters in addition to the VGA connection .

Mini-VGA is mostly found in older, PowerPC -based iBooks and iMacs , some Sony laptops and the first Chromebook generation from Samsung . Apple in particular relies on the more versatile Mini-DisplayPort for computers today .
