Minimess

Minimess is the oldest German brand for a measuring coupling . The brand name has meanwhile become a generic name . Both in Germany and internationally, measuring couplings are colloquially referred to as Minimess, even if the measuring coupling is not of the Minimess brand.

History of the brand

With the invention of the measuring coupling by Ulrich Baumgarten in 1964, the Minimess brand was also launched. Although the name Minimess quickly developed into a generic name, Hydrotechnik GmbH only secured the rights to the word / figurative mark in 1984 with the patenting of the new sealing technology.
