Mirakulus und Supermaus (orig. Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse ) is an American animated series for which 130 episodes were produced from 1960 to 1962.

Miraculus and Super Mouse are two superheroes who help the police in the fight against crime. Mirakulus is the one who specializes in making decisions and fighting. Super mouse, a bit scared, is responsible for disguises and spying.

Connections with Batman

The series was invented by Bob Kane and can therefore be understood as a personal parody of his most famous creation, Batman . Like Batman, the Miraculus and the Super Mouse have their headquarters in a cave and are on the move in a special vehicle, the construction of which is based on one of the actors. Like Batman and Robin, Miraculus and Supermouse have no superpowers and are dependent on technical aids, although they can also fight. They also often help the police; Unlike Batman, however, they are not called to help by a special headlight, but notified directly by a radio call in their car. Unlike Batman, Miraculus and Super Mouse also don't wear masks and don't seem to have a secret identity either. While the Dark Knight usually acts at night, the two often do their jobs during the day.
