Miss Mary Ann (* in the Netherlands ) is a Dutch rockabilly and country musician . Mary Ann is represented internationally with her band, the Ragtime Wranglers , and as part of the duo The Ranch Girls .

Career

Miss Mary Ann played in The Greyhounds in the 1990s before starting Ranch Girls with her friend Caroline. Two years later, the Ragtime Wranglers were added, who accompany the Ranch Girls and Mary Ann's solo performances and are also independently active.

After touring mainly as "Ranch Girl" for eight years, Miss Mary Ann turned to her solo career in mid-2001. Since then she has performed alone and as a member of the Ranch Girls and played at international festivals such as the Rockabilly Rave in Great Britain , Hi Rockabilly in Spain and Oneida's Rockin 'Fifties Fest in Wisconsin , United States . Her tours have already taken her to European countries and six times to the USA. In 2006 her second album Rock It On Down To My House was released on Sonic Rendevouz Records. Mary Ann's solo pursuit is more rockabilly, while the Ranch Girls mainly play western swing and honky tonk .

The Ragtime Wranglers recorded their first album Groove a Tune in 2005 and have already accompanied rockabilly stars such as Sid and Billy King , hard rock Gunter , Curtis Gordon , the Collins Kids , Larry Donn , Marvin Rainwater , Frankie Miller , Jack Earls , Janis Martin and Barbara Pittman .

Miss Mary Ann currently lives in London .
