Missing Link (band)

Missing Link was a German pop group from Mönchengladbach that was active in the late 1980s and early 1990s. The name alludes to the technical term " Missing Link ".

Band history

Missing Link was founded in 1985 by Bernd Barano. Although it never reached the German single charts, it was able to celebrate great success on the radio. In particular , she was successful in the WDR-1 hit parade broadcast Schlagerrallye , moderated by Wolfgang Roth . With the song Together Forever , the band managed to be climber of the week twice in a row, and eventually became No. 1 on that show. With Claim of Love , the band reached fourth place in the 1988 annual evaluation and had been placed for 24 weeks. The song Give It reached the top position several times. Her long-playing record World of Fantasy has sold 235,000 times.
