Mission Germany was a reality show that was produced and broadcast by ProSieben in April and May 2002 over a period of 30 days .

concept

The interactive adventure show was about finding three agents who were fighting for a total of 150,000 euros. The competition took place on television, teletext , on the Internet, via SMS and in public. The selected candidates Dorota, Frank and Graziano tried for 30 days to cross Germany as unrecognized as possible and to solve a new task every day. Every morning the three "agents" received a video message from "Mr. X “by notebook , which they always carried with them. Every day the agents had to cope with a task, such as a day job in a company such as a large bakery. The agents had a “CashCard” for 5000 euros for each day; if they were found and recognized by the searching spectators, they were obliged to hand over the CashCard to the spectator who found it, who then received the bonus. However, it was only possible to hand out a maximum of one CashCard per day. In order to find the candidates, the viewers had to film at least two candidates by camera and address them directly, otherwise the finding was invalid.

The moderators Miriam Pielhau and Sky du Mont gave an encrypted note on the task and the agents' current scope of action every day. The position of the candidates was displayed on a digital map of Germany, and they were tracked with a time delay via their cell phones using a GPS signal.
