The Mississippi Coast Coliseum is a multi-purpose hall in Biloxi, Mississippi .

History and use

The arena was built from 1975 to 1977 and offers space for a total of 15,000 spectators for the so-called “festivities occupation” of the hall floor and the tiers. The building is a popular venue for sports competitions such as soccer, athletics, tennis, and hockey; so the Sun Belt Conference in 1992 and 1993 was held here.

Eric Clapton played there in 1990 as part of his Journeyman World Tour . In addition, the annual rock festival THE CPR FESTIVAL takes place in the hall and also wrestling events such as WWE SmackDown! and WWE Raw were broadcast from here.
