Miyuki-chan in wonderland

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Miyuki-chan in Wonderland ( Japanese 不 思議 の 国 の 美幸 ち ゃ ん , Fushigi no Kuni no Miyuki-chan ) is a manga by the Japanese team of artists CLAMP .

action

The young high school student Miyuki is mysteriously swallowed up again and again by strange worlds. She has to solve various tasks to get back, but none of the stories are actually completed. This makes the hopelessness in which Miyuki finds himself clear to the reader.

In this manga, only female characters carry the story. In individual scenes, the artists point to Shōjo Ai (girl's love), although this runs like a red thread through the individual stories, but does not affect the plot.

Publications

The manga is a one shot , a single volume. It was first published in Japan by Kadokawa Shoten in 1995. It was published in German in 2002 by Carlsen Verlag .

The manga is divided into individual stories, each laid out over about nine pages. Additional color pages with backgrounds on the creation of this manga complete the volume. In doing so, CLAMP insists on mentioning their own comments in a short manga ( Omake ).

The manga also served as the basis for a two-part anime .
