fauna and Flora
Numerous animals can be seen in the hilly terrain, which is partly forested. Since there are no dangerous predators among the animals, the area can be explored on foot or by bike. It is possible to observe numerous antelope species, zebras and giraffes on the prescribed hiking trails. Warthogs live near the streams . There are crocodiles and hippos in several small lakes. Numerous species of birds can be observed at the lakes or in the open area.
There are several aloe plants in the park, some of which come from the herbarium of the aloe researcher Gilbert Westacott Reynolds .
