Model project of spatial planning

Spatial planning model project , MORO for short , is a research program of the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI). Within the ministry, it is supervised by the Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning (BBR).

Goal setting

MORO is intended to test and promote innovative, spatial planning approaches. The main focus is on the collaboration between science and practice. For this purpose, model projects are selected, accompanied and evaluated. In particular, the evaluation should also check the transferability of the results to other projects of a similar nature. At the same time, governmental, i. H. legal and financial adjustments can be derived.
