The monthly issue, published by the independent Modern Drummer Publications Inc. , contains the latest reports on the drummer scene, new releases in the field of drums, cymbals and accessories as well as reviews on drums and interviews with drummers of all styles.
Modern Drummer regularly hosts festivals where the most respected and tech-savvy drummers and percussionists play at the time. It is also in the foreground that these drummers pass on their skills in workshops.
