Modern Philology (German: Moderne Philologie ) is an American literary magazine and is published by the University of Chicago Press as a print and online edition. The magazine was founded in 1903. In the quarterly publication, scientific articles on literature, literary studies , literary history and reviews are published and current books are discussed. Furthermore, there are literature overviews and research on archived documents.

The costs for a one-year subscription are approx. $ 50 / year [as of 2020] ; there are discounts for students. Advertisements are also placed in the magazine.
