Monica Louise Prieto-Teodoro is a Filipino politician .

biography

Monica Louise Prieto, as entrepreneur worked, is married to the former Members of Defense (Secretary of National Defense) from 2007 to 2009 and candidate for the presidential election in May 2010, Gilbert Teodoro .

She herself became a member of the House of Representatives of the Philippines in 2007 as her husband's successor . As a member of the NPC, she represents constituency I (1st District) of the Tarlac Province .

In the current 14th Congress , she is chair of the Committee on Child Welfare. She is also Deputy Chair of the Committee on Population and Family Relations. As a representative of the parliamentary majority, she is also a member of the Committees on Ethics and Privileges, Foreign Affairs, Interparliamentary Relations and Diplomacy, Public Information, Social Services, Women and Gender Equality.
