Monitor (own name: monitor ) was an Austrian monthly ICT magazine for decision-makers in companies , IT consultants, the self-employed and professional users. According to its own account, Monitor was the "most widely used source of information for news and reports from the fields of information technology and telecommunications as well as IT training and further training in Austria" for this target audience. In addition to the monthly editions, special editions offered analyzes and market overviews for IT purchasing and highlighted trends.

The magazine was founded in autumn 1983, the publisher is or was Verlag Holzhausen GmbH. The last editor-in-chief was Rudolf Felser until the end of 2018.

According to the ÖAK, the monthly print run in the first half of 2017 was 12,000 copies. In the meantime (2020) the website has been closed and redirects to the Austria Innovativ website; no issue of the print magazine has appeared since 2019.
