Monymos

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Monymos (Μώνυμος) is the name of an otherwise unknown ancient Greek author. The Christian author Kyrill of Alexandria (early 5th century) names him as the author of a collection of miracle stories ( Mirabilia ) and as a historical informant for alleged human sacrifices in honor of Peleus and Cheiron in the Thracian city of Pellene.
