Bog body from Lindow

Moor corpse from Lindow refers to the following human moor corpses from Lindow Moss, England, near Mobberly in the English county of Cheshire:

  • Bog body from Lindow I (also Mrs. von Lindow ), the skull of an adult woman found on May 13, 1983.
  • Lindow-Mann (also Lindow II ), found on August 1, 1984, is England's best-preserved and best-known bog body.
  • Lindow III's bog body was found on February 6, 1987. About 70 well-preserved parts of the back, a hand and a leg of an adult man dating between 30 and 225 AD were recovered from the conveyor belt and from the overburden of the gate dismantling machine.
  • Lindow IV, buttocks, left leg and right thigh of an adult male, believed to belong to the Lindow man (Lindow II) and were found on June 14 and September 12, 1988
