Mor Ephrem Church

The Mor Ephräm Church , named after St. Ephräm , is a Syrian Orthodox church in Heilbronn .

The former church of the US military in Heilbronn an der Charlottenstrasse, corner of John-F.-Kennedy-Strasse 2 was built in 1951. It is located in the northern part of the Schwabenhof and was renovated in the late 1980s. The sacred building has a 280 m 2 church space for 350 believers. The building also has two chapels, one with a confessional and another with a baptismal font. Common rooms and offices have been set up in the basement of the house. There is also a kitchen there.

In 1995 the sacred building was sold to the Syrian Orthodox Church.
