Morgårdshammars IF

Morgårdshammars IF was a Swedish ice hockey club from Morgårdshammar , which was active in the top Swedish league for two years.

history

The Morgårdshammars IF took part in the 1961/62 and 1962/63 seasons in Division 1 , the then highest Swedish league. Both times the club had to participate in the relegation round in the second half of the season, with the second time the relegation was missed and the club was relegated to the second division 2 .

In 1986 the club merged with Backbyns IF to form Smedjebacken HC.
