Morisaki Kazue

Morisaki Kazue ( Japanese 森 崎 和 江 ; born April 20, 1927 in Chōsen Province (now Korea ), Empire of Japan ) is a Japanese writer.

Morisaki attended Fukuoka Women's College (now Fukuoka Women's University ). From 1950 she wrote articles for Maruyama Yutaka's poetry journal Boin . She later edited the journal Sākuru Mura with the poet Tanigawa Gan and the historian Ueno Eishin .

In her novels such as Makkura (1961), Dai-san no sei (1965) and Karayuki-san (1976), she repeatedly addressed the oppression of people, especially workers and women, through state action. In later works such as Inochi hibikiau (1998) she reflected on the connection between humans and nature.
