The Moro horn helmet is a protective weapon from Indonesia.

description

The Moro horn helmet is made of cow horn or water buffalo horn . The horn is made into flat plates. The inner part of the helmet is made of leather. The horn plates are processed very carefully and then sewn almost seamlessly onto the leather cap with rattan fibers obtained by splicing . The horn plates are also sewn together for a better hold. A semicircular button, which is also made of horn, is placed on the top of the helmet. A small, stylized figure is attached to it. The helmet has an eye shield and a neck protector that is slightly curved. The Spanish helmets from the 17th century served as a model for this helmet .
