Motivational

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The motivative , also called causalis, is a grammatical case that indicates the motive of an action.

In Basque it is derived from the genitive possessivus , to which the ending -gatik is added:

  • Neska ›the / a girl‹
  • Neskaren ›the girl‹
  • Neskarengatik ›because of the girl‹
