Motocross Madness is a motocross video game series and is part of the Madness series from Microsoft .

The first title, Motocross Madness , was developed by Rainbow Games and published by Microsoft Games in 1998.

In the United States, the game sold 35,922 times in its release year. Those sales accounted for $ 1.54 million in revenue that year.

In 1998, Motocross Madness won the “Racing Game of the Year” award from Computer Games Strategy Plus. The editors described it as “perhaps the best motorcycle racing game of all time”. PC Gamer US also named Motocross Madness the best racing game of 1998.

Motocross Madness 2

The successor Motocross Madness 2 was also developed by Rainbow Games and published in 2000 by Microsoft Games . It was positively received when it was released, with a score of 86.35% on GameRankings .

Motocross Madness

The third part, also titled Motocross Madness , was developed by Bongfish and published in 2013 by Microsoft Studios for Xbox 360.
