Motorcycle biathlon

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The motorcycle biathlon is a competition for motorcycles on an unpaved circuit that is mainly common in Germany.

The competition begins with a starting test in which the participants run a distance of around 30 to 60 meters. Then the participants complete a shooting test with an air rifle on folding windows and a driving test on a relatively unpaved circuit that has to be driven several times. The journey time is around 30 to 40 minutes.

The regional motorsport associations in Germany are the sponsors of the motorcycle biathlon. German championships are held once a year.
