The Mount Barrow is a mountain in northeastern Australian state of Tasmania . It is located about 46 km east-northeast of Launceston .
The 3 km long plateau reaches a height of 1,413 m and is regularly snow-covered in winter. The Mount Barrow State Reserve covers an area of 459 hectares. There, subalpine animal and plant species are protected, including a number of threatened species.
