The mountain bike country Switzerland is a network of cycle routes in Switzerland that is also part of the SwitzerlandMobility network . The mountain bike trails, which are divided into national and regional routes, run right across Switzerland. The project has been implemented since the beginning of 2008.

National mountain bike routes

National routes are longer routes in which you cover several stages.

Regional mountain bike routes

Regional routes are shorter routes that have to be covered in one or two stages. There are a total of 16 regional bike routes. See the list of mountain bike routes in Switzerland .

Signage

Signalization for routes in Switzerland as a cycling and mountain biking country. The first logo stands for a national bike route, the second for a national mountain bike route.

The mountain bike routes are each assigned a number. National routes are single-digit, regional routes are double-digit. All paths have signage. A mountain bike is shown immediately after the number. The places listed afterwards are the stage destination (above) and the intermediate destination (below). The kilometers still to be driven are also indicated.
