Mratsch von Dauba (Czech Mračtí z Dubé ) were a branch of the old Bohemian family of Dauba , which descended from the Beneschauer .

In the first half of the 15th century, the aristocrats owned the Mrač fortress near Beneschau. At the end of the century they split into two branches. The one who was soon to die out belonged to Mratsch and half of Pertschitz . The second branch bought more lands over time, including the Božešice , Svojšice and Zalešany castles . The most important personality was Karl Mratsch von Dauba , who exercised the office of state judge under Friedrich von der Pfalz . However, since he took part in the uprising , he lost a third of his possessions. In 1622 he joined the Catholic faith, whereupon he got back half of the confiscated goods.
