exhibition

The exhibition begins with the work that made Mucha famous, the so-called Panneaux Décoratifs . These are posters produced around the turn of the century, including Mucha's well-known designs for the legendary Parisian actress Sarah Bernhardt . Furthermore, you get an insight into the handbook for artisans written by Mucha as well as oil paintings, model photos, sketches, notes and pastels. The exhibition ends with a facsimile from Mucha's studio with original furniture and photographs of his family.

With the exception of the Slav Epic, which arose after Mucha's return to Bohemia, the exhibition provides a complex overview of Mucha's artistic work.
