Multipin

In electrical and signaling technology, multipin refers to a connector with a large number of electrical contacts. The round connectors are derived from the MIL-C-5015 / VG95234 specification. The degree of protection is IP67, the number of plug contacts varies between 25 and 150. The mechanical locking takes place via a bayonet lock .

The advantage of this type of connection is the ability to quickly connect and disconnect complex signal lines in communications or signaling technology. Multipin is mainly found in recording studios , in stage and theater technology as well as in measurement and control technology.
