The Multiple Sclerosis Functional Composite (MSFC) is a performance scale developed by the US National Multiple Sclerosis Society (NMSS) to assess the severity of disabilities in multiple sclerosis patients, which is a further development of the EDSS , which has been used as the gold standard .

The time required to cope with a certain walking distance, a plug test to assess arm function and assessment of cognitive functions were integrated as new components.
