The Musée de l'émigration française au Canada is a migration museum and opened in Tourouvre in Normandy in the Le Perche area in 2006 .

The French who emigrated to North America from here in the early 17th century settled on the St. Lawrence River .

The museum works closely with French and Canadian universities with the aim of presenting the circumstances of French emigration to Canada during the 17th and 18th centuries and the links between France and the French descendants in Canada through exhibitions, meetings, cultural events and genealogy consolidate.
