The abductor digiti minimi muscle ( Latin for "little toe puller") is a skeletal muscle of the foot . It originates on the heel bone hump (lateral process tuberis calcanei, partly Processus medialis tuberis calcaneus) and the plantar aponeurosis (plantar fascia) and is applied to the base of the proximal phalanx of the little toe and the tuberosity metatarsalis V.

The muscle spreads the little toe outwards (abduction) and bends it in the base joint.
