Museum of Brisbane

The Museum of Brisbane is a public museum located on the ground floor of Brisbane City Hall in the capital of the Australian state of Queensland and extends over 200 meters. It was opened in 2003 and already has over 700,000 visitors.

There are art galleries on either side of the entrance on King George Square . The museum has a socio-historical focus. The exhibitions are changed at regular intervals. Occasionally some of these are also shown as traveling exhibits in the suburbs of Brisbane.

Two exhibitions are particularly noteworthy: one takes a collection of historical photographs of buildings through the city's history and the other deals with a series of photo posters with fellows supported by the Churchill Fellowship .

Entry to the museum is free.
