Muslim Council

A Muslim Council is an association of Islamic religious communities, associations, organizations and associations to represent the interests of Muslim believers in their city or region. In contrast to the Islamic umbrella organizations in Germany , the Muslim Councils are regional associations in different compositions.

Muslim councils in Germany

  • Muslim Council Munich (Council of Islamic Religious Communities, Associations, Organizations and Associations) is one of approx. 35 Islamic associations and organizations in Munich founded in March 2003 under civil law (GbR). In 2005 the council was converted into a registered association (eV).
  • Council of Muslims in Bonn , it was founded on August 21, 2006.

Muslim Council in France

In France, the French Muslim Council, Conseil français du culte musulman (CFCM), represents Muslims throughout France. Until 2008, the council was blocked by internal disputes. The council is a body. In the elections of June 8, 2008, the Moroccan-dominated Mosque Network (RMF) won with 43.2 percent of all votes.
