Muzeul Satului Maramureșean ( Village Museum of Maramureș ) is an open-air museum opened in 1981 in Sighetu Marmației in the Maramureș in north-east Romania .

The collection of exhibits with the significant participation of Mihai Dăncuș for the establishment of an ethnographic museum of the Maramures goes back to 1972. The museum was finally inaugurated on May 30, 1981. Today the museum consists of more than 30 courtyards from different areas of the Maramureș, furnished with original inventory. In addition to Romanian houses, there are farms belonging to Ungern, Ukrainians and two Jewish houses, one of which is a synagogue .

All paths in the museum lead to the 16th century church from the village of Onceşti in the Iza Valley. It is the oldest building in the museum and is itself built from reused materials from an older church, which could be dendrochronologically dated between 1572 and 1614.
