content

Bobby has a problem at school: his teacher, Ms. Kirby. She stomps, she yells and she punishes Bobby for making paper airplanes and letting them fly through the classroom. Ms. Kirby is a monster in Bobby's eyes. Bobby spends his free time in the park, where he makes a terrible discovery one Saturday morning: Ms. Kirby. She is sitting on the bench, which is, of all things, Bobby's favorite place in the park. At first Bobby wants to run away, but the two start talking and Bobby saves Ms. Kirby's hat, which is blown away in the wind. Together they explore the park, fly paper planes and realize that they can have a lot of fun together. The following Monday Bobby is back in school and Ms. Kirby is no longer the scary monster in his eyes - at least in most situations.
