The Nýdek ski jump in Třinec consists of two ski jumps of category K 24 and K 40 . The jumps are covered with plastic matting. The K-70 hill still exists, but it is no longer used for jumping.

history

A ski jumping hill already existed from the 1930s until around 1950/51. A few years later it was planned to build a new hill. In 1957 the K-70 ski jump was inaugurated. The ski jump had a 10 meter high steel inrun tower and a drag lift . International competitions were held on the K-60 hill until 1967/68. In 1976 a K-24 and a K-40 hill were built not far from the K-70 hill. The two new jumps are for young jumpers. Night jumping can be held in summer and winter thanks to the ski jumping hill lighting. The two small jumps were renovated in 2008 and covered with new plastic mattings.
