Nūr (district)
Nūr ( Persian / Macanderan : شهرستان نور) is a district in the Māzandarān Province in Iran. The capital of the district is Nur. At the 2006 census, the district had 104,807 residents in 27,699 families. The district is divided into three districts: the Central District, the Baladeh District and the Chamestan District. The district has five cities: Nur, Baladeh, Chamestan, Royan and Izadshahr. Most people speak Masanderan , with most speaking Persian as well.
