Oberamt Uffenheim

The Oberamt Uffenheim was one of the 15 administrative areas of the Principality of Ansbach . From 1791/92 the principality of Ansbach was administered by the Prussian state as Ansbach-Bayreuth . The Oberamt Uffenheim was thus incorporated into the Uffenheim district .

location

The Oberamt Uffenheim had no contiguous area. It bordered the Oberamt Creglingen and the Hochstift Würzburg in the west, the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Oberamt Hoheneck in the east, the Imperial City of Rothenburg in the south and Oberamt Hoheneck in the north with the Principality of Schwarzenberg and the Hochstift Würzburg.

The Oberamt Uffenheim was made up of the caste and municipal bailiff office Uffenheim, the caste office Mainbernheim, the caste office Prichsenstadt, the caste office Castell or Kleinlankheim and the bailiwick office Giebelstadt. Each office was also a Fraisch district .
