history

The Uffenheim district existed from 1797 to 1806. The district authority was known as the district directorate. It was formed mainly from the upper offices of Creglingen and Uffenheim . Some places were added that were previously under other rulers. Justice and administration were separated. The sub-authorities were the judicial offices of Marktsteft, Prichsenstadt, Uffenheim, the chamber offices of Mainbernheim, Prichsenstadt, Uffenheim and the magistrates of Creglingen, Mainbernheim, Prichsenstadt, Uffenheim. The authorities were initially taken over by the new Kingdom of Bavaria , but on October 1, 1808, they were repealed. In their place, the regional courts of Uffenheim , Marktsteft and the market court of Markt Einersheim were created, which were responsible for both administration and justice.
