Uffenheim District Court

The district court of Uffenheim was a Bavarian district court of the older order that existed from 1808 to 1879 and was based in Uffenheim in the Rezat district . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .

The district court bordered in the northeast on the Hohenlandsberg and the Markt Bibart district court , in the south on the Rothenburg district court , in the southwest on the Windsheim district court and in the northwest on the Untermainkreis .

The district court was divided into 21 tax districts, which were administered by the Uffenheim Rent Office:

In 1818 there were 13273 residents in the Uffenheim district court, divided into 3074 families and living in 2929 properties.

After 1818 Custenlohr and Walkershofen were added.

In 1820 1 municipal community and 39 rural communities belonged to the regional court:

Nenzenheim was added and Gollhofen was handed over to the Markt Einersheim court .

In 1840, the Uffenheim district court was 4 12 square miles in size. There were 14,152 inhabitants, of which 626 were Catholics and 13,532 Protestants and 354 Jews. There were 78 localities: 1 town, 1 market, 25 parish villages , 11 church villages , 3 villages , 4 hamlets and 33 wastelands . There were a total of 40 municipalities: 1 magistrate 3rd class, 1 market municipality and 38 rural municipalities:
