Windsheim District Court
The District Court of Windsheim was a Bavarian district court of the older order that existed from 1812 to 1879 and was based in Windsheim in what is now the district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .
In 1812, in the course of the administrative restructuring of Bavaria, the Windsheim district court was established. This was added to the Rezatkreis .

The district court Windsheim bordered in the south on the district court Leutershausen , in the southeast on the district court Ansbach , in the east on the district court Erlbach , in the northeast on Neustadt , in the north on the district court Markt Bibart and in the west on the district court Uffenheim .
structure
As part of the municipal edict in 1811, the district court was subdivided into 11 tax districts, which were subordinate to the Ipsheim Rent Office . In 1817 rural communities emerged that were congruent with the tax districts:

With the second community edict (1818), the rural communities received more powers. At the same time, most of the rural communities that had existed until then were split up, so that there were finally the following 31 rural communities:

As early as October 1, 1821, the following tax districts and rural communities came from the district court of Ansbach to the district court of Windsheim:
- Book with Bucher Mühle , Fröschendorf , Fröschendorfer Mühle , Merzbach , Schußbach , Steinbach , Steinbacher Mühle ;
- Ickelheim with Linkenmühle and Wasenmühle ;
- Oberaltenbernheim with Brachbach , Breitenau , Esbach , Rappenau and Veitsmühle ;
- Unteraltenbernheim with Binsmühle , Hechelbach , Hörhof , Limbach , Schafhof and Wimmelbach .
On April 1, 1832, the rural communities Burghausen and Poppenbach were handed over to the Leutershausen district court .
On July 3, 1838, the rural communities of Deutenheim, Ezelheim and Sugenheim were handed over to the Markt Bibart district court .
In 1840 the Windsheim District Court was 4 square miles . There were 15,201 inhabitants, 77 localities (1 town , 4 markets , 13 parish villages , 2 church villages , 16 villages , 13 hamlets and 28 deserted areas ) and 29 parishes (1 magistrate 2nd class, 2 magistrates 3rd class and 26 rural parishes).
