Bergtshofen is a district of the municipality Gallmersgarten in the district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim in Middle Franconia in Bavaria .

geography

The Ottenbach, which is a left tributary of the Ens , flows through the village . The forest areas Buchheimer Holz , Seeholz and Lochholz are about one kilometer to the northwest , about one kilometer to the west is the Gigertsleite , about 500 meters to the north is the Kirchbuck , about 200 meters southeast of the Tannenbuck .

Communal roads lead to Hochbach (1.3 km southeast), Buchheim (3 km east), after Ermetzhofen to the district road NEA 31 (2 km northwest) and to NEA 31 near Mörlbach (2 km west).

history

The place was first mentioned in a document in 1363, in which the Heilsbronn monastery was guaranteed a basic gradient. The Rothenburg citizen Heinrich Toppler bought two estates in Bergtshofen, among others.

At the end of the 18th century there were eight properties in Bergtshofen. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Schultheißenamt Burgbernheim . The village and township government had the imperial city Windheim and Castell'sche Office Rüdenhausen jointly hold. The landlords were the Oberamt Uffenheim (1 yard), the imperial city of Windsheim (2 quarter yards, 1 estate, 1 Häckersgut) and the Amt Rüdenhausen (3 estates).

As part of the municipal edict, Bergtshofen was assigned to the Burgbernheim tax district formed in 1811 . It also belonged to the rural community of Burgbernheim formed in 1817. With the second community edict (1818) it was moved to Gallmersgarten.

Buchheimer Weg 1: hipped roof house
Hochbacher Straße 2: hipped roof house
Parish hall: Small, ground-floor solid building, converted in the commercial section. Gable with simple half-timbering and half-hip. Signed 1801 above the front door .
