Preuntsfelden is a district of the municipality Windelsbach in the district of Ansbach in Middle Franconia ( Bavaria ).

geography

The church village is located a little north of the Altmühl and is surrounded in the south by the Kirchfeld and in the north by the Wasserfurchfeld. Approx. The Sonnenbuck is located 0.5 km to the east.

Communal roads lead to Ermetzhof (1.5 km east), to Birkach (1.1 km south-west) and to the district road AN 7 south of Hornau (1.5 km west).

history

The place was first mentioned in a deed of wild animals by Emperor Otto III. for Bishop Heinrich von Würzburg , issued on May 1, 1000, named as "Brungeresfeldun" and named as the nineteenth border point. In 1330 a chapel in "Brungartsfelden" was mentioned for the first time. The place name changed to "Brumgartsfelden", "Breunolzfelden" and "Breunzfelden". Since 1564 the Nikolauskirche in Preuntsfelden with the villages Hornau, Birkach and Burghausen belongs to the parish Windelsbach.

At the end of the 18th century there were 17 properties in Preuntsfelden. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Bayreuth mayor's office in Markt Bergel . The village and township government had the imperial city of Rothenburg held. The landlords were the imperial city of Rothenburg (15 properties: 1 inn and brewery, 1 courtyard, 1 half courtyard, 9 estates, 1 forge, 2 houses), the Brandenburg-Bayreuth caste office Ipsheim (1 estate) and the administrative office of Burgbernheim of the Juliusspital Würzburg (1st floor ) Well).
