Buch is a district of the community of Trautskirchen in the district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim in Middle Franconia .

geography

The village is located in the triangle of its large left tributary Steinbach to Zenn , into which the short Hörbach flows from the other side below the village and just before the Steinbach. The Alte Herod ( 426  m above sea level ) rises in the Schußbachwald about one kilometer north of the village . The Hörbachgrund begins around 750 meters to the southwest at the foot of another hillside forest.

In the village, the district road NEA 17 , which leads down from the Steinbach valley and finally past Steinbach , joins the state road 2413 running along the Zenn , which connects Unteraltenbernheim further up through Buch and past Fröschendorf with Trautskirchen. An agricultural traffic route leads past the Buch mill to Merzbach , which is located in a neighboring valley in the northeast.

history

The place is first mentioned by name around 1150, when Count Rapoto von Abenberg donated the former goods in Buch to the Heilsbronn monastery after the Abenberg monastery was dissolved . 1294 gave Konrad IV. Of Nuremberg and his wife Agnes the Teutonic Order , the castle Virnsberg with Eingehörungen, including book mattered. In 1353 Ernst von Onolzbach gave the Heilsbronn Monastery, among other things, goods in Buch.

By the end of the 18th century there were 15 properties in book. The high court exercised the Obervogteiamt Virnsberg . The village and community rule was held by the Teutonic Order Coming Virnsberg . The landlords were the Teutonic Order Coming Virnsberg (4 courtyards, 7 half-courtyards, 1 forge), the manor Rügland of the Lords of Crailsheim (1 estate) and the community (1 shepherd's house, 1 house).

In 1806 Buch came to the new Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the municipal edict, the Buch tax district was formed in 1808 , to which Bucher Mühle , Dagenbach , Daubersbach , Einersdorf , Fladengreuth , Fröschendorf , Fröschendorfer Mühle , Kräft , Merzbach , Schußbach , Steinbach , Steinbacher Mühle and Stöckach belonged. The rural community formed in 1811 was congruent with the tax district. It was subject to the Ansbach Regional Court in administration and jurisdiction and to the Ansbach Rent Office in the financial administration . On October 1st, 1821 the rural community of Buch was split up:

  • Book with Bucher mill, frogs village, frogs Mühle, Merz Bach, Bach and shot Steinbach and Steinbacher mill, to the district court Windheim and Rentamt Ipsheim transferred
  • Dauberbach, Kräft and Fladengreuth were incorporated into the rural community of Unternbibert ;
  • Dagenbach was incorporated into the rural community of Trautskirchen;
  • Einersdorf and Stöckach were incorporated into the rural community of Neuhof an der Zenn .

However, until 1848 the Patrimonial Court of Rügland held voluntary jurisdiction and the police over an estate . From 1862, Buch was administered by the Uffenheim District Office (renamed the Uffenheim District in 1938 ) and from 1856 by the Windsheim Rent Office ( renamed Windsheim Tax Office in 1920 ). The jurisdiction remained with the District Court of Windsheim until 1879, from 1880 District Court of Windsheim . The municipality had an area of 10,370 km².

On July 1, 1972, Buch was incorporated into Trautskirchen as part of the regional reform .
