history

The place was first mentioned by name in 1296 in the Rothenburger Ächtbuch as "Tauerspach". The defining word of the place name is the nickname Duher (= the slider). A person of this name can be assumed to be the founder of this settlement. Originally the German Order Coming Virnsberg exercised the right to rule. A purchase letter from 1345 has been preserved in which Rapot von Kulsheim the Kommende Virnsberg left the place and subjects for 601 pounds and 7 12 shillings. During the 30 Years War the place was completely destroyed and had to be rebuilt. From 1732 the form "Daubersbach" is attested.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 7 properties and a community shepherd's house in Daubersbach. The high court and the village and community rulership exercised the Obervogteiamt Virnsberg . The landlords were the Obervogteiamt Virnsberg (1 courtyard, 1 three-quarter courtyard, 2 half courtyards, 1 estate) and the Brandenburg-Ansbach Vogtamt Jochsberg (2 estates).

As part of the community edict, Daubersbach was assigned to the Buch tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Buch, founded in 1811 . On October 1, 1821, Daubersbach was re-municipalityed with Fladengreuth and Kraft to Unterstbibert . On January 1, 1977, the community of Unternbibert was incorporated into Rügland as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
