Stöckach is a district of the community of Trautskirchen in the district of Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim , Middle Franconia .

geography

The hamlet is located on the Zenn and Taubenlohebach, which flows into the Zenn as a right tributary. The Mäusberg rises directly to the south-east of the village, behind which lies the Neuhofer Holz. A community road leads to Oberfeldbrecht to state road 2255 (2 km southeast) or to state road 2413 (0.3 km north).

history

The place was first mentioned by name as "Stockech" in 1297, when it was added to the parish of St. Kilian (Markt Erlbach) by order of Bishop Mangold of Würzburg . In 1353 Hans von Willmarßdorf sold the Stöckacher mill to Ernst von Hennebach on the condition that the mill belong to the Heilsbronn monastery after the heirs died . The monastery acquired a total of three properties there, two of which were inhabited during the Thirty Years' War .

At the end of the 18th century there were 8 properties in Stöckach. The high court exercised partly the Brandenburg-Bayreuth city ​​bailiff's office in Markt Erlbach , and partly the high bailiff's office in Virnsberg . The village and township government had the German Order of Coming Nuremberg held. Landlord were the box office Neuhof (1 mill, 1 yard), the German Medal Coming Nürnberg (1 yard, 1 Viertelhof, 1 Tropfhäuslein , 1 municipality Hirtenhaus) and the manor Trautskirchen (1 yard, 1 drip house).

As part of the municipal edict, Stöckach left the Zenn was assigned to the Buch tax district formed in 1808 .
