history

Until the end of the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation

The place is mentioned for the first time in a document that must have been created between 1057 and 1075 as "Truteschirchen". The defining word is the personal name "Trut" or "Trūt", which can be seen as the founder of a church that was consecrated by the Eichstatt Bishop Gundekar II and received the patronage of the Archangel Michael . In 1278 Trautskirchen came into possession of the Heilsbronn Monastery . In 1297 Michaelskirche was raised to a parish. A noble family of the same name has been attested on a manor since the 14th century. When it died out in 1402, it came to the von Seckendorff family . The Reformation took place during Hans Schmidt's tenure as pastor of Trautskirchen and Neuhof . During the Thirty Years War , the place was almost completely destroyed. In the period that followed, the lords of the castle changed frequently. In 1708 it was again the Seckendorffers who built a new one instead of the old one.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 67 properties in Trautskirchen. The high court exercised the manor Trautskirchen to a limited extent. If necessary, it had to be delivered to the Brandenburg-Bayreuth municipal bailiff in Markt Erlbach . The manor Trautskirchen ruled the village and community . The landlords were the manor Trautskirchen (63 properties: castle, 18 estates, 45 drip houses ) and the parish of Trautskirchen (church, rectory, 2 houses). At that time the Trautskirchen manor belonged to the Barons von Falkenhausen and was controlled by the knightly canton of Altmühl . It exercised the high court and the village and community rule over Dagenbach . In addition to the 63 properties in Trautskirchen, it was also the landlord in Dagenbach (6 properties), Einersdorf (1) and Stöckach (1).

19th and 20th centuries

In 1810 Trautskirchen came to the Kingdom of Bavaria . As part of the community edict in 1811 that was tax district and the Rural Municipality Trautskirchen formed. On January 4, 1821 Dagenbach was umgemeindet from Buch to Trautskirchen. On January 30, 1851 Einersdorf and Stöckach were umgemeindet from Neuhof to Trautskirchen. From 1862, Trautskirchen was administered by the Neustadt an der Aisch district office (renamed the Neustadt an der Aisch district in 1938 ) and from 1856 by the Markt Erlbach rent office (1920–1929: Markt Erlbach tax office , from 1929: Neustadt an der Aisch tax office ). The jurisdiction remained with the district court of Markt Erlbach until 1879, from 1880 to 1959 district court of Markt Erlbach , from 1959 district court of Fürth . The community originally had an area of 6.590 km².

time of the nationalsocialism

On March 12, 1927, after a speech given by Albert Forster from Fürth in Trautskirchen, a local branch of the NSDAP was established . After a propaganda speech by Fritz Raab from Dettendorf at a meeting of the NSDAP at the end of February 1931, 14 new entries into the NSDAP and others into the “Stahlhelm” were recorded.

On January 1, 1970, part of the dissolved Altselingsbach community was incorporated. On July 1, 1972, the Buch community from the Uffenheim district was added.

Blazon : Divided by silver and black; at the top a red linden branch ,bent into a loop and with four leaves on the outside, at the bottom two silver flaming swords crossed at an angle. "

White and red municipal flag

Justification of the coat of arms: The looped linden branch is the coat of arms of the Barons von Seckendorff , who had lived in Trautskirchen since the 14th century. The flaming swords are the attributes of Saint Michael , to whom the parish church is dedicated. The colors silver and black refer to the former sovereigns, the margraves of Brandenburg-Ansbach .
